Complex Case Review with Invisalign: Open Bites, TMD, and Orthognathic Surgery

Summary:
In this presentation, Dr. Maz Moshiri will review suggestions for designing and delivering the proper force systems necessary with Invisalign to predictably address complex open bite malocclusions nonsurgically. However, at times, patients may elect for ideal treatment... allowing for orthognathic surgery to be offered as modality of care. Increasingly, more patients are electing to use Invisalign as the orthodontic medium of choice for their orthognathic surgical treatment. The nuances of proper digital planning and overall workflow for orthognathic surgical cases with Invisalign will also be discussed. Lastly, considerations and a possible solution for therapeutic management of TMD patients will be reviewed when using clear aligners.
